We do not sell your data, and we do not share it for advertising.
3. Who we share it with
We disclose only the information needed by providers that help operate Aaronsan:
- Stripe — takes your payment and stores your card details. We receive only the result of the payment and the last digits of the card.
- our hosting, database, and email suppliers — they store or transmit your data on our instructions and may not use it for anything else
We also disclose data when the law requires it, or to defend a legal claim.
4. Security
- your connection is encrypted end to end (HTTPS/TLS)
- passwords are hashed and never stored in readable form
- access to your data is restricted at the database level, per account
- payment details never touch our servers
No security measure eliminates every risk. If an incident creates a risk of serious harm, we notify affected people and the relevant authority as required by law.
5. How long we keep it
- Learning progress — kept as long as your account exists, so you never lose your work.
- Account data — kept until you ask us to delete your account.
- Payment and accounting records — generally kept for 6 years after the end of the year they relate to, or longer where required by law.
6. Your rights
You can ask us to:
- give you a copy of your personal data
- correct anything inaccurate
- delete your account and your data
- export your learning data
- stop sending you non-essential email
Send your request to info@aaronsan.com from the address linked to your account. We respond within the applicable legal period, generally 30 days in Québec.
Your rights vary by location. In Québec, you may request access to or correction of your information and seek recourse from the Commission d’accès à l’information.
