Welcome to Aaronsan. These Terms of Service govern your use of our Japanese language learning platform operated by Manda SENC.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using Aaronsan, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our service.
2. Description of Service
Aaronsan provides an online platform for learning Japanese through spaced repetition flashcards, progress tracking, and gamification features. We offer both free and premium subscription tiers.
3. User Accounts
You must create an account to use certain features of our service. You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
- All activities that occur under your account
- Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use
4. Subscription Plans
4.1 Free Plan
Provides access to all JLPT N5 content at no cost.
4.2 Basic Plan ($4.99/month)
Provides access to all JLPT levels (N5-N1) content. Billed monthly and can be cancelled anytime.
4.3 Privacy Plan ($6.99/month)
Includes all Basic Plan features plus privacy controls to hide your profile from leaderboards. Billed monthly and can be cancelled anytime.
4.4 Lifetime Founder Plan ($49.99 one-time)
One-time payment for lifetime access to all content, including founder-exclusive benefits. Limited to 250 members. This plan is non-refundable after 14 days.
5. Payment Terms
All payments are processed securely through Stripe. By subscribing to a paid plan, you authorize Manda SENC to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel your subscription.
6. Cancellation and Refunds
Monthly subscriptions can be cancelled anytime from your account dashboard. You will retain access until the end of your current billing period. Refunds are handled according to our Refund Policy.
7. User Content and Conduct
You agree not to:
- Use the service for any illegal purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
- Share your account credentials with others
- Use automated systems to access the service
- Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code
8. Intellectual Property
All content, features, and functionality of Aaronsan are owned by Manda SENC and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
9. Data Retention
Your learning progress, stats, and favorite cards are permanently saved even if you cancel your subscription. You will lose access to premium content but retain all your data.
10. Limitation of Liability
Manda SENC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the service.
11. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or platform notification.
12. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms of Service or is harmful to other users.
13. Governing Law
These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
